Health Awareness Camp, Delhi

The Health Society of K.R. Mangalam University organized a Health Awareness and Medical-check up Camp on Sunday, 11th June 2017 at Agarseen Awaas, IP Extension, New Delhi. The camp was organised in association with Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association, the mission of the camp was to create Health awareness among the residents of Agarseen Awaas and other residents of IP Extension.

The camp was attended by almost about 300 residents.The residents underwent various biochemical tests such as Body Mass Index, Blood Pressure ,Bone density Test, Random Blood glucose, HbA1C, Pulmonary Function Test.

Health Society of K.R. Mangalam University participated in the Health camp along with other companies and supported the Health camp by doing Random Blood glucose, B.P, BMI calculations and counselling the diabetic patients with regard to Drugs and Diet. Dr.Arun Garg gave a talk onGeneral dietary habits and importance of living healthy lifestyle to the residents.

Ten students and Ms. Silky Sethy, Coordinator Health Society in collaboration with IPGA organised the camp. IPGA felicitated Ms. Silky Sethy along with the Team and appreciated the efforts of the Health society for creating awareness.
