Biography

Dr. Ravendra Singh has been an alumni of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Agra university. Since his childhood Dr. Singh had a keen interest for mathematics. To explore the myth and challenges in the field of mathematics Dr. Singh opt the field of science which opens the door in every field of scientific learning including mathematics. He did his UG & PG from DS College, Aligarh but the turning point of his life came when he got the opportunity to pursue M.Phil. in mathematics from IBS Khandari, a campus of Agra University. During his stay at IBS Khandari Dr. Singh came in contact of various eminent personalities in the field of mathematics. Dr. Sunder Lal, the VC of Purvanchal university was one of them who shaped and inspired Dr. Singh’s life to increase grip in the field of research and applied mathematics. Dr. Singh completed his M.Phil and Ph.D. dissertation in supervision of Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Head dept. of Mathematics, IBS Khandari Campus (Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Agra). He started his teaching career from his home institution IBS Khandari by getting the consent of his supervisor in the form of conducting lectures for M. Phil and PG students. 

The very first professional college from where Dr. Singh started his teaching career in 2006 was Sai Nath Education Group, Agra and he taught there for two years taught Mathematics UG and PG students. He kept increasing his experience by teaching in various institutions till 2010 along with his Ph.D. which was going on from IBS Khandari. Due to family problem Dr. Singh had to relocate from Agra to Palwal which was nearby from his home town to take care both family and profession and in the year July 2010 he join DCTM, Palwal as an Assistant Professor. During his stay at Palwal Dr. Singh completed his Ph.D. which was already going on and he did not compromise from his vision which was to explore the myth and challenges in the area of mathematics and despite his professional task he kept his preparation on and he qualified CSIR NET two times between 2012 to 2014. In second times Dr. Singh got all India 38 rank in June 2014 in CSIR NET.

His area of research and interested is applied mathematics. The field of his Ph.D. and M. Phil. is biomathematics. In which Dr. Singh has depicted on the relevance of biomathematics to solve the real life problem i.e. reaction-diffusion and tromer growth problems etc.

Dr. Singh has published eight research papers in his relevant field in International Journals. He has attended three international and seven national Conferences and presented the papers in his area of interest. As a scholar and teacher he has also attainted around ten workshops and FDPs in institutions of international reputation. Dr. Singh is life members of three societies in the field of Mathematics and he has good command over MATLAB to which he uses frequently to solve the mathematical problems.
