He started to work as freelance translator since 2003. He had worked for several national and international translation agencies and publishers. Articles and translation of English and Bangla short stories published in Hindi magazines and newspapers like Ahwan, Ravivari Jansatta, Sahara Samay, Anurag. He translated world classics, such as Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins’s political fiction Is New York Burning; Lewis Carol’s Alice in Wonderland. He had scripted and directed a 80 minute documentary film titled Factories of Death and Despair on the unsafe and hazardous working conditions in the Industrial areas in and around Delhi. The film was awarded certificate by CFBC. He made Ad films and short films as well and supervised more than 10 student films. He is guest faculty in reputed media institutes such as IIMC, TMU, ISOMES, FIMT, IMMM.

He moved to academics in Aug 2013. During his tenure of teaching and he has taught subjects like Video Production Techniques, Radio Programming & Production, Basics of Camera & Lighting Techniques, TV News & Programs to the students of BJMC and Visual Communication & Photo Journalism, Cinema & Popular Culture, TV News Production & Anchoring to the students of MJMC. He also supervised students' film production projects. He has also worked for various administrative positions such as Time Table In-charge, Discipline In-charge, Programme Coordinator, Syllabus Revision Committee, Academic Review Committee, Research and Publication Team. He has also organized seminars, film festival and media fests. He also developed User Manual of Avion's AV-DR-1401 Digital Wireless Radio Receiver (First DRM Radio of India) for Communication System Inc.
