Since 2003, she has taught many courses to management, commerce & engineering students at Institutions affiliated with MDU, ICFAI, and Rajasthan University.  In addition to teaching conventional management courses like Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, HRM & Marketing Management she has also developed and taught several novel interdisciplinary courses like Consumer Behaviour, Advertising & Brand Management, Advanced Marketing and Strategic HRM. Her aim as teacher in an educational organization would be to render the knowledge, experience, and expertise in all aspects starting from organizational management, to policy making to proper molding of students in terms of teaching them the values and principles of life.

She enjoys and encourages creative interdisciplinary work. She is very passionate about contributing for creation of high quality higher educational programs by emphasizing on

(i) Setting up high expectations, (ii) pedagogies of engagement (iii) active and inductive learning approaches, and (iv) interdisciplinary & integrated curriculum. Her main goals are:

  1. Contribute in the transformation of management education especially live projects in India by bringing a higher focus on pedagogies of engagement.
  2. Contribute to bring computing closer to society, humanities, education, and arts.
  3. Create and actively promote a holistic and liberal approach towards education.
  4. Encourage entrepreneurship among management students.
  5. Leverage the potential of internet to enhance quality of higher education.

She feels very fortunate to have closely worked and interacted with a very large number of students from various countries in various disciplines – management studies, areas related to HRM & Marketing.

She is currently supervising three PhD scholars.  They are working in the fields of Marketing, Human Resources & Teaching.

She has anchored several presentations and arranged various lectures on All India Radio.

She has organized several national and international workshops, seminars, and conferences. She has been actively involved in curriculum design/ structure design for university level (BBA, B.Com & MBA) courses. She has been an invited speaker at various platforms.

Prior to joining KRMU, she was working as Associate Professor (HOD-Department of Management) at GITM, Farrukhnagar Gurgaon. At GITM, she played key role in establishing committee for designing in house activities for MBA & BBA, organizing seminars, arranging summer internship training (SIT) programs & commencement of the extracurricular activities focusing especially on inculcating ethical & human values. This experience gave her a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with corporate people and industrial tie-ups for final placements. It helped her deepen her understanding of holistic thinking, multi and trans-disciplinary work, and centrality of human aspects in overall development. She has been awarded with Six Sigma- Green Belt Certification with the score of 96%.

She has been a faculty member at ICFAI University, Hydrabad & research scholar at NMIMS, Mumbai. She had been awarded as best faculty guide at ICFAI for 100% attendance of the students & the efforts done for their SIT & Placement.

During her student days, she has been an intern at Hero Motor Corps, Dharuhera in Training & Development in HR (TIME) department, at Jindal Strips, Hisaar in HR department & Cadbury India Limited in Marketing (comparison of strategies with other FMCG products like Nestle & Amul) New Delhi.
