An Academic Visit to Qutub Complex

The School of Humanities organised an enriching academic visit to the Qutub Complex, Mehrauli. This immersive experience allowed students to explore India’s rich cultural and architectural heritage at this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The visit provided insights into Indo-Islamic architecture, historical narratives, and cultural preservation. Key highlights included: understanding the fusion of Indian and Persian architectural style, analyzing inscriptions and historical structures firsthand and engaging in discussions on cultural conservation efforts. Through this experiential learning initiative, students gained a deeper appreciation for India’s heritage and its lasting impact on historical scholarship.Â
