Field Visit to Sunil Boxing Sports Academy

School of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences (SPRS) organised an insightful field visit to Sunil Boxing Sports Academy, Gurugram, Sector-9, providing students with hands-on exposure to sports rehabilitation and physiotherapy practices in a real-world sports environment. The academy, home to 50-60 professional and amateur boxers of various age groups, offered students an opportunity to interact with athletes dealing with different sports-related ailments. They assessed the boxers’ conditions and recommended strengthening techniques to aid in performance enhancement and injury prevention. This visit enriched students’ practical understanding of physiotherapy in sports, emphasizing rehabilitation strategies tailored for boxing professionals. The experience not only enhanced their clinical skills but also reinforced the importance of physiotherapy in athletic excellence.
