Workshop on Mastering Procedural Law and Forensic Evidence

The Centre for Criminology and Victimology organised a two-day workshop on “Mastering Procedural Law and Forensic Evidence.” The keynote speaker, ACP Hari Singh, addressed the gathering on the criminal investigation procedure, sharing his extensive experience in the field. On the second day, a session on forensic science was conducted with experts from the Forensic Science Lab in Rohini, Delhi. The event began with a welcome address by Ms Akansha. Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Assistant Director and head of Crime Scene Management and the Photo Division, led an informative session, joined by two experts from his team. The session covered various aspects of forensic science with real-life examples, multiple demonstrations, and even a re-creation of a crime scene to give participants hands-on experience.
