November 19, 2020: Legal and Management Society, KRMU organized a session on ‘Consumer Behavior and comparison between Consumer Protection Act 1986 vs Consumer Protection Act 2019’.
The resource person was Mr. Yashank Wahi, a brand management professional with 12 years of total experience in product development, positioning, pricing, packaging design, media,
consumer promotions, account sell-in and retailer activation.
The co-speaker for the event was Ms. Kanika Wahi, an Engagement Manager in Executive Access with over 13 years of experience in executive search working across different sectors
such as FMCG, Media, Retail, Hospitality and Consulting within the domestic market.
The range of topics covered by the guest speakers were definition of consumer, model of consumer buying process, consumer vs customer, buyers & users etc. A video concerning the
differences between redressal processes of CPA 1986 VS CPA 1919 was showed. A role play was also performed by the student under the guidance of guest speaker to demonstrate the
redressal process of CPA 2019.
