Position: Assistant Professor – Forensic Science (Cyberforensics)
Department: School of Basic and Allied Sciences
Location: KR Manglam University, Sohna
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Cyberforensics, Digital Forensics, and Cybercrime Investigation.
• Develop course materials on network forensics, malware analysis, cryptography, blockchain forensics, and digital evidence handling.
• Conduct research in cyber incident response, forensic data analysis, intrusion detection, and AI-driven forensics.
• Supervise student projects and collaborate on industry-driven forensic case studies.
• Set up and maintain digital forensic labs, forensic tools (Autopsy, FTK, EnCase, Wireshark, X-Ways, Volatility, etc.), and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Work on live cybercrime case simulations, penetration testing, and threat intelligence gathering.
• Publish in high-impact journals and secure research funding for cyberforensics initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D./Master’s in Forensic Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong background in digital forensics, ethical hacking, OSINT, and cyber law.
• Hands-on experience with forensic imaging, evidence acquisition, file system analysis, and incident response tools.
• Industry certifications (preferred): CHFI, CCFP, GIAC GCFA, CISSP, CEH.
• Experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell for forensic scripting is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior teaching experience in cyberforensics at a university level.
• Collaboration with law enforcement agencies, cybersecurity firms, or forensic labs.
• Research contributions in AI-driven forensic analysis, IoT forensics, and cybercrime prevention.
