Job Title: Lab Technician (EEE/ECE)
Qualification:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- Prior experience as a Lab Technician in an academic or industrial setting is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up laboratory equipment, instruments, and components for experiments and practical sessions.
- Assist students and faculty in conducting experiments, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, diagnosing and repairing faults when necessary.
- Calibrate and test lab instruments to ensure accurate readings and performance.
- Maintain an inventory of laboratory supplies, ordering materials when required.
- Maintain records of equipment and timely auditing is ensured.
- Keep detailed records of lab activities, experiment results, and maintenance schedules.
- Provide technical support for research projects and student assignments.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure lab cleanliness and equipment functionality.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in electrical and electronics engineering.
Skills Required
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of electronic circuits, electronic components, testing instruments oscilloscopes etc.
- Should be well versed with MS office tools
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to assist students and document procedures.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain records and manage lab inventory efficiently.
