Roles and Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and workshops in Physiotherapy.
- Design and update the curriculum in line with UGC and regulatory guidelines.
- Guide students in academic and research activities.
- Supervise student projects, dissertations, and internships.
- Conduct research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and secure research grants.
- Participate in academic administration, accreditation, and quality assurance.
- Mentor faculty members and provide departmental leadership.
- Organize and participate in conferences, workshops, and outreach programs.
- Establish industry and healthcare collaborations for student training and research.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies such as IAP.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ph.D. in Physiotherapy or related field (preferred).
- MPT in a relevant specialization with a strong academic record.
- Minimum 10 years of teaching and research experience, including at least 5 years at the Associate Professor level.
- Proven research record with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience in curriculum design, student mentorship, and academic administration.
- Clinical or industry experience in Physiotherapy is an advantage.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Expertise in specialized areas such as Neurological, Musculoskeletal, Cardiopulmonary, Sports, or Geriatric Physiotherapy.
- Experience in digital and blended learning methodologies.
- Ability to lead research projects and develop interdisciplinary collaborations.
- Active membership in professional bodies such as IAP or international physiotherapy associations.
