The new evaluation pattern involves a continuous assessment process throughout the semester. It involves engaging the students meaningfully in a variety of content-related activities such as projects, field work, class presentations, assignments, lab work, etc. Each school can design its own activities depending on the requirement of the discipline. It is an on-going evaluation process, involving active participation of the students throughout. The purpose is to enable the students develop an in-depth understanding of the concepts and theories relating them to real life situations.
Individual departments are also encouraged to modify the evaluation pattern if necesssary so as to suit their specific learning outcomes and requirements.
