Legal and management under the aegis of K.R. Mangalam University regularly organizes various scholastic and co-scholastic activities to cater all round development of its students.
With this objective, Legal & Management Society under the banner of E-dude Fiesta organised an Extempore Competition
“Insight from Students sight” for student of all programmes on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
An extempore is an impromptu speech which the participant is required to make on a topic there and then. The students will be given opportunity to speak on a variety of topics like
education, knowledge, life, beauty, happiness, ICT, entrepreneurship, leadership, culture, freedom, diversity etc. The students were evaluated on the basis of three parameters; content,
confidence and overall performance. There were more than 100 attendees consisting of Participants, Teachers and Students.
The competition was judged by one external judge, Mr. Lalitesh Kumar Singh and internal judge Dr. Richa Arora (Assistant Professor, School of management and commerce).
Mr. Lalitesh is a business development manager working with Sofcom technologies and has an experience of more than 10 years in industrial automation, building automation,
embedded system, projects and training.
Mohit Chahal bagged the first prize and won cash prize of Rs.1000 and Kalpana Yadav and Shiv Bhatnagar bagged the second and third prizes respectively and won the gift coupons.
Along with the competition, Judges shared various inputs with the participants to help them work to polish their skill more and excel further in such upcoming events.
