Orientation ceremony of K.R. Mangalam University, Gurugram on 17th
August 2019. The University welcomed the new entrants and parents who were excited, curious to be part of K.R. Mangalam family in this new academic session.
Ms. Sara and Mr. Aman students of KRMU welcomed the new students and their parents. The ceremony began with lamp lighting by the dignitaries that included Mr. Rahul Gupta, Padam Shri awardee Prof. Dinesh Singh, Chancellor, Prof. Aditya Malik, Vice-Chancellor, Renowned Scientist Prof. Krishan Lal, C. V. Raman Chair Professor of Physics, Prof. Anita Sharma, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ashum Gupta, Dean, Research and Academic Affairs, Registrar and Deans of various schools.
Prof. Aditya Malik, Vice-Chancellor, KRMU in his address took the opportunity to welcome the choice made by new entrants to join KRMU. He said that being a young university we are curious, enthusiastic and open to innovation and creativity. He also highlighted the new learning pedagogy adopted by KRMU which is project based and hands-on and also told about new projects taken up the university like engineering kitchen, smart ashram and e-yantra robotics lab. He laid stress on how young mind deserves new learning, that will empower them and give them the freedom to design their future.
The attendees felt motivated and encouraged as Prof. Dinesh Singh, Chancellor, KRMU expressed his gratitude to the young aspirants who are going to start their new inning with KRMU. He pointed that business of education never ends, what is important is to go gain real education that will empower you.
The programme concluded with Vote of Thanks and National Anthem.
