CUET Marking Scheme for 2024

The CUET marking scheme for the year 2024 has been the same as the previous year where the candidates were rewarded with +5 marks for every correct answer and a -1 negative marking was applicable for every wrong answer.

Moreover, the sectional passing marks were as follows:

• Section 1 – Language: There were 50 questions in the language section out of which, candidates were supposed to attempt at least 40. A minimum of 160-180 marks was required to qualify the section.
• Section 2 – Subjects of Interest: Candidates were supposed to choose at least 6 domain specific subjects for this section and a minimum score of 120 out of 300 was required to qualify this section.
• Section 3 – General Test: The section has 60 questions requiring at least 50 attempted questions in the same. The minimum required marks were 120 for the section.
