In the School of Basic & Applied Sciences (SBAS), science wonders are blended with application-based knowledge. The school serves as a bridge between students and an environment where scientific discovery and critical thinking become a reality.

From physics and chemistry to forensic science and mathematics, the school has a variety of undergraduate science programmes to cater to various interests.

SBAS strives to promote scientific innovation, research-based learning, and interdisciplinary research so that the students can contribute constructively to scientific innovations, industrial development, and technological progress. As the Dean of the School of Basic and Applied Sciences, I’m immensely proud of our commitment to delivering immersive education since our establishment in 2013. Offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programmes in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Forensic Sciences, our aim is to equip students with the knowledge and skills to serve society and organizations effectively. Our curriculum emphasizes academic excellence, professional competence, and addressing societal and environmental challenges, fostering a culture of innovation and ethical responsibility.
