JEE Mains 2026: Application Process

First Step

Registering for the Online Application Form and recording the Application Number obtained by the system are prerequisites. Candidates have to make a password and complete the application. An application number (system-generated JEE Main 2026 application number) will be produced following the successful submission of the personal information. This number will be needed to complete the next steps. Additionally, they are needed for any future references and correspondence.

Second Step

Candidates now have to complete the application form. Filling it out includes providing personal information and applying for the paper by logging in using the system-generated application number and pre-created password. They must select the exam centres, enter information about their educational background, upload pictures, and attach documents like their signature and marksheet.

Third Step

Candidates must pay the required examination costs after finishing the application procedure. Net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI will be used to pay the fees. In addition to the exam fees, applicants must pay the processing fees and GST, if applicable, as determined by the appropriate bank or payment gateway integrator.

Fourth Step

The applicant can print the Confirmation Page after making a successful payment. The transaction is cancelled, and the candidates must request a reimbursement from the relevant bank if the Confirmation Page is not created. However, if you do not obtain the Confirmation Page, you are urged to make another payment or transaction.
