Design 2030

School of Architecture and Design (SOAD) hosted the DESIGN 2030 International Multidisciplinary Conference at M3M Broadway, bringing together over 100 architects, designers, and industry experts to explore sustainable and innovative design solutions.
Supported by COA, University of Florida, City College Glasgow, IIA (Haryana), IIID (Delhi), and Studio Tvastra, the conference featured 80+ researchers, discussing climate resilience, urban design, and heritage conservation. Eminent speakers, including Ar. Gajanand Ram, Ar. Vivek Logani, and Mr. Rishu Anand, shared their insights.
Highlights included the RASA exhibition integrating AR/VR, a material showcase, cultural performances, and a student-led fashion show. Panel discussions like “Architectural Toolkit for 2050”, along with Insta Talk sessions featuring design influencers, provided valuable industry insights.
Prof. Dr. Tanaya Verma, Dean SOAD, emphasized the conference’s role in bridging academia and industry, offering students firsthand exposure to future design trends. With sustainability and research at its core, DESIGN 2030 has set a new benchmark for innovation in architecture and design.
