Dr. Mohd Rafiq Shah is an accomplished academician and financial literacy expert, with over Five years of extensive experience in teaching and the corporate sector. He holds a Doctorate in Finance from the prestigious School of Commerce, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore (University of Indore), where his research focused on “Financial Literacy and Its Impact on Investment Decisions – A Comparative Analysis Between North India and Central India.”
Dr. Shah’s academic foundation is robust, encompassing a Master’s Degree in Commerce with a specialization in Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce. In addition, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) from the University of Kashmir and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business operations from IGNOU. His comprehensive educational background underscores his expertise and versatility in the fields of commerce and finance.
Prior to his tenure at K.R. Mangalam University, Dr. Shah served as a faculty member in Higher Education, Jammu & Kashmir, where he honed his teaching and research skills. He has an impressive track record of scholarly contributions, having published numerous research papers in reputed national and international journals. Furthermore, he has actively participated in various seminars, workshops, and conferences, showcasing his dedication to academic excellence and continuous learning. He has also acted as an Organizer and Convenor of various events, Seminars and Workshops. Dr. Shah has also completed several Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) conducted by top-rated institutions across India, further enhancing his pedagogical and professional capabilities.
A recognized authority in financial literacy, Dr. Shah has organized and led numerous events at educational institutions to promote financial knowledge among diverse stakeholders. Dr. Shah is proficient in both English and Hindi, excelling in speaking, reading, and writing in both languages. He is skilled in academic research methodologies and statistical analysis, with expertise in using advanced tools such as MATLAB, STATA, IBM SPSS and R.
