The Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) programme at K.R. Mangalam University is meticulously designed to prepare aspiring architects with a strong foundation in architectural design, building technology, construction methods, structural systems, environmental sustainability, and urban planning, complemented by extensive studio-based learning, site exposure, and professional practice. The programme integrates core subjects such as architectural design, building construction, history of architecture, theory of design, structural systems, environmental studies, building services, computer-aided design (CAD), landscape architecture, urban design, professional practice, and research methodologies, enabling students to develop a comprehensive understanding of the built environment and contemporary architectural practice.
Students gain practical experience through architectural design studios, live projects, site visits, construction workshops, measured drawing exercises, documentation studies, internships with architectural firms, and collaborative design projects, where they develop essential skills in conceptualisation, technical drafting, model making, digital visualisation, problem-solving, project management, and sustainable design practices.
